The Cynthiana
grape is a native plant to Arkansas. Cynthiana grapes and wine have been
grown and produced in Altus Arkansas for over a century. 
This
picture taken during the 1926 Grape Festival shows a Cynthiana plant growing and
thriving in the middle of the town square!
